School of Choice applications will be online only beginning Monday, April 27th at 8:00 a.m. The deadline to apply is Friday, June 5th by 4:00 p.m. Any family that has submitted an application by the deadline will be put in the virtual lottery Monday, June 8th.
Saline Area Schools is proud to offer both in-person and on-line summer school options for students, with a large variety of courses available. Registration for 2020 is now open.

With the extended school closure, Saline Area Schools has developed a food distribution program that will complement the incredible support already being provided by Saline Area Social Services. We recognize that there are students in need of nutritious meals and we are prepared to provide these for our families.

It’s a competitive industry and many of our food service providers are facing the prospect of not being able to financially survive this latest crisis.

Hello SAS Community,
In an ongoing effort to keep you informed and as a follow up to our communication last week, we wanted to reach out to provide an update regarding the evolving Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation based on the information we have today. We continue to work closely with the Washtenaw County Public Health Department and will continue to follow their guidance and recommendation regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. We understand that schools play an important role in promoting public health and preventing the spread of disease in the local and greater community.
Current members of the Saline Area Schools Board of Education will host two sessions for community members who may have interest in running for available seats. Attendees will be provided with forms, timelines, duties and an overview of time commitment.
